Restaurants need systems with service in their DNA.
Measured HRIS was built by an operator, for operators. Not by software people guessing at hospitality, but by someone who's lived every pay cycle, every schedule change, and every compliance deadline behind the pass.
Meet Rachel Ramsey
Rachel has worked the line, run the floor, and managed the HR and payroll realities behind restaurant teams, giving her the fluency to build what operators have been missing.
The industry has been waiting for this moment.
Before becoming a tech founder, Rachel spent 20+ years in restaurants, as a chef, then in nearly every front and back of house role there is. Six years ago she built Measured HR, a fractional HR practice for small hospitality businesses.
It was that hands-on work running HRIS implementations for client after client that exposed the gap: every system on the market was built for corporate offices, not restaurants.
Every platform Rachel implemented forced restaurants to adapt to software that wasn't built for them. None understood tip credits, tip pooling, or the realities of running a two-to-six-location operation. Measured HRIS exists because she got tired of telling clients, "This is just the best of the worst."

Built by hospitality, for hospitality.

The best restaurant technology should never come at the cost of your people
Our mission is to close the gap for restaurants. Operators deserve software that supports their teams as well as it supports their business.
That's why our long-term goal is to become a PEO, bringing health insurance, benefits, and real protection to restaurant employees. This started with a real conversation: a small, growing restaurant owner wanted health insurance for his team, but he refused to compromise on technology. That same care and protectiveness is built into everything we do.
We're not there yet. But we're on the journey. Come with us.
